I love all the characters, it's very funny. But I wish I'd had a teacher like you in high school!

I hope you have lots of fun in Detroit, if you have time, I highly recommend the Art Institute. I try to go every time I visit my parents. And last time we made it over to John King Books which is dangerous!

For streaming, I really liked UnREAL (which might be on Amazon Prime) -- the people are just awful but I couldn't stop watching. I also loved Babylon Berlin and an Australian series called Wanted. Sort of like Thelma and Louise. One of the stars is also the creator. There's also a great Australian period piece set in the 1950s called A Place to Call Home -- terrible name, but a great drama. Netflix is different in the US so you might have to find that one on DVD but it's really worth looking for if you like period dramas. Every one of them ...I can't help with TV shows. Every one of them I watch ends up being not a binge session but spread out over years.

I am so glad you are finally feeling better. Walking pneumonia is no joke. Hopefully, this is it for you for at least the rest of the school year! It's Anne of Green Gables, but changed a bit -- darker. It seems people either love it or hate it. I LOVED it. They're filming Season Two now. Then you MUST WATCH The Crown on Netflix. (About Queen Elizabeth II.) IT'S SO GOOD. I BINGE-WATCHED BOTH SEASONS. THEN, finally, you must see Seasons 1 & 2 of Victoria on PBS. It's a series about a young Queen Victoria -- so many shades of awesome. It's based on the novel by Daisy Goodwin.

I'm still reading Vera Brittain. Her letters, a biography, and a reread of her memoirs. Then I might read some Bronte for #Bronte200. A reread of Wuthering Heights? I AM AFRAID BUT YES POSSIBLY. Maybe it will be like Austen and be amazing on a second read.

PS: Downton Abbey is the best. I also own it & rewatch all the time. :)*ೃ༄ Jillianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14139487177036647728noreply@blogger.com
