I read it aloud to my very young child (I think he was 18 months old and it was an excuse to read my book when he was playing because he liked to hear my voice, etc. yes I'm weird) but going so slowly made it quite satisfying. I love seeing Crusoe's spiritual development, and I really do look forward to a reread in another year or so.Rebecca Reidhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06062252252301802298noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6543330341390707771.post-74242105603871313172010-07-22T11:24:42.022-04:002010-07-22T11:24:42.022-04:00I've never read this book, but I recently read...I've never read this book, but I recently read The Moonstone by Wilkie Collins that refers to it a lot, so it made me smile.Amandahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00038548350220435559noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6543330341390707771.post-69624583930133911162010-07-22T10:29:44.691-04:002010-07-22T10:29:44.691-04:00I agree with the others I read this book in High s...I agree with the others I read this book in High school and I don't think it has aged as well as some of the classics.Bathwaterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18286545216706532921noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6543330341390707771.post-88530065264684977892010-07-22T06:19:13.351-04:002010-07-22T06:19:13.351-04:00I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts o...I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this one. I read it when I was 15 or so and I must admit I found it extremely boring (then again there's not too many characters to keep you entertained)... So I'm quite interested to see if this is maybe a book I should consider rereading.Outihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15180522943076333619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6543330341390707771.post-25254277851955198132010-07-21T20:09:18.219-04:002010-07-21T20:09:18.219-04:00great to read you again, Allie! BUT, I had to read it all in one week, for school, and it was the same week (well, one of many) that I was having a huge fight with my then-boyfriend. So I hope you enjoy it more than I did!Jennyhttp://jennysbooks.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.com
