Great review, and I'm so glad someone else spent their childhood reading Lurlene McDaniel. Just started "Fracture" by Megan Miranda which is a good bet for the "Twilight" crowd. Also hope readers will seek out Mal Peet. His books are great YA-adult crossovers. I highly recommend both "Tamar" and "Life: An Exploded Diagram." In fact, the latter has a Romeo/Juliet type plot in keeping with your Shakespeare theme!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6543330341390707771.post-39201810644392985822012-01-25T11:58:39.831-05:002012-01-25T11:58:39.831-05:00I'll be finishing up The Handmaid's Tale t...I'll be finishing up The Handmaid's Tale today or tomorrow, and I plan to read The Fault in Our Stars over the weekend. It was chosen, overwhelmingly, as my next YA Read by my subscribers/followers, so I hope it lives up to expectations! Your comments on it certainly are promising, though. I've never actually read John Green, but the unanimous opinion seems to be that he's hands down awesome... so I see myself picking this one up in the near future.

I love when a book can worm its way into my heart and connect with me on such a personal level, and it's obvious that this book meant a lot to you in light of your personal experiences with family members and cancer.
