A Modern March Link-Up Post!

Hi everyone! Welcome to the link-up post for "A Modern March!"

The goal for this event is to read some great Modernist literature (not contemporary lit-there is a difference!). I'm hoping we can all learn a great deal about this movement and the writers who published in this time period.

Starting today, read those Modernist pieces you selected. Once you write a post related to the event, make sure to come back here and link them up using the Mister Linky below. Just remember that this isn't a race and the goal isn't to read the most books-just to enjoy your reading!

I also want to encourage you to come back often to see others' posts and cheer them on. And, if you are on twitter, use the #amodernmarch hashtag to talk about the event.

Good luck and remember to link those posts!

*For the Mister Linky, please put the Title of the novel, following by your blog name in the "name" section. And make sure your URL is the URL for the post you want us to see, not your blog!*

    1. Enjoyed your review and again wish that Virginia Woolf was on my reading list. Sigh ...

  4. I read a book from my Classics Club list! I wrote a review! I participated in an event! This is a huge milestone, hence the punctuation!

  5. Really enjoyed everyone's reviews, especially Melissa's review of The Garden of Eden and Emily's of A Room With a View. I just finished up Back by Henry Green. Thanks for hosting this!

  7. Just finished a very interesting not very well-known work by Proust, Contre Sainte-Beuve. At first puzzling, it required a bit of effort to sort out the connections in this strange work. However, the effort was well repaid with greater insight into Proust and his later masterpiece A la recherché du temps perdu. Overall an exciting and enjoyable experience. I hope we can do this again sometime. http://bit.ly/XjBuf4

  8. I did read mine in March but computer problems meant I've only just got my review up! Disappointed I only read one for this, but it's whet my appetite to try more!
