Just Checking In.

So...I am perfectly aware that I have been more absent than present. In case you didn't know, school started and I have been teaching like there is no tomorrow. ;) I'm really enjoying it and have finally reached a point where I feel like I can breathe a bit. It was a little chaotic starting the year off, but I feel like I have things under control. In fact, in a little bit, I am planning on crawling into bed with a book...something I haven't done since before school started!

In any case, I wanted to at least pop in and tell you that I am doing well. I am feeling a bit introverted at the moment, but I am hopeful that I will eventually get the spark again. I was actually struck by an idea earlier today in the middle of one of my classes, so hopefully that equates to more writing...and discussion of books.

I hope you are all doing well-tell me what you've been up to!

  1. So glad to hear from you! I'm very happy that everything is going well for you and your teaching.

I'm finally almost on track with life. I've found a good way of organizing my time. I've been reading more and writing more. Pretty good mix.

Hope to hear more from you soon!

  2. It's such a privilege to really enjoy your work you are doing! I'm glad for you and wish all the strength to keep going! Your pupils need you...

  3. Glad working again is settling into a routine, that's the most important thing! I've been up to my eyeballs in review copies, can't wait when that is the last thing on my mind.

  4. I've been pretty MIA myself. Taking on more with work and I'm getting overwhelmed. I hope you will be able to join me for the FrightFall read-a-thon. It starts Monday! I can't believe it's already here!

Hope to see you back with us soon. Don't work TOO hard!

  5. Your new job must be exciting and a bit overwhelming :-) September's always a hectic month in education, I guess. I hope life will settle down more and more and you'll be at a leisure to read and blog again. I feel pretty overworked and am looking forward to the weekend (book club meeting) and a very long weekend the week after that. Nothing beats curling up on the couch with cuddly cats and a good book!

I have nothing interesting to say, but nice to hear from you, I was missing your updates!
