Read-a-thon!

I am sure that most of you have heard about the 24 Hour Read-a-thon happening this upcoming weekend. And I hope that you have signed up (if not, go do it now!).

I have participated in the last two read-a-thons with mixed results. The first one, a year ago, went well even though I had to work the day of. I managed to have a great reading day and was super productive. The most recent experience was a little off, since we had company in from out of town and I didn't get to read as much as I would like.

And even though I have a family party to go to for a few hours on Saturday night, I have grand plans for the day.

I hope to see you all participating, especially since I will be the one hosting the last four hours of the day! So sign up, prepare, and have a blast reading all day!

  2. I'm so looking forward to this! I'll be posting about my plans later this week. I still have my book club on Saturday morning but otherwise will be just reading.

  5. This will be my 4th readathon, and I'm super excited for Saturday! A huge part of the reason that I started my book blog was because of Dewey's Readathon, and honestly I enjoy every second of it.

  6. Hm. I'm going to have to think about this. I could really use the reading time, but I'm not sure if I'll actually have the time on Saturday. Thanks for posting the reminder, though! I'll let you know if I join in.

  7. I haven't decided yet. I'd like to (especially since I've never participated) but a friend I haven't seen in a while is going to in town on Saturday and my school is having a campus-wide day of community service that will pull me away for five hours.

  8. You know, I'd love to. I have been in a non-reading mood lately, and hopefully this'll help me get back into it. Thanks for letting us know :)
